Talk about her current take on fashion, I think Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie looked simply chic and timeless at the Premiere of her own Half of a yellow sun in the UK.

Chimamanda rocked a lacy long red dress and wore her hair in an African hairdo neatly woven into place which for me this speaks uniqueness. She accessorized with simple earrings, a pair of blue sandals barely seen and she left the jewels at home except for a ring on her finger, less is absolutely more seeing that the dress speaks for itself.

With this simplicity what she has done is exhibit her beautiful facial features which were yet highlighted as she added some red lipstick for that va-va-voom while wearing little or no makeup. The Author is naturally stunning and does not need to wear lots of makeup but instead allows her natural beauty shine.

It is really impressive because I have followed Chimamanda style for a while and know she has kept her style and owned it considering that she always adds that African touch to her looks, very original.

I like the simplicity of the look, on Chimamanda, who looks put together and beautiful, it is great to see her wearing her hair in an African woven hairdo. Overall I think she looked classy sophisticated and matured, more so picture perfect. Do you agree?
