What a better time for style inspiration than a beautiful Wednesday as the weekend approaches. As the fun period comes close you have the time to get into full gear for any parties you might be prepping for. So I am discussing confidence and chicness to move you back in focus to help you feel inspired about yourself.

I rocked this look to a red carpet event recently and didn’t want anything that would make me feel uncomfortable without being chic. I did feel a bit bare but realized that confidence is the new chic.

Let’s take a look at classic and chic ways to update your personal look. I always preach about the ability to find your chicness in any style.

Hence irresistible uptown style (on a budget) is a good place to start, because it’s easy to look good when you have confidence in you. This is so especially when your outfit count is in the stratosphere.

Nevertheless how does one update their chicness without spending so much?

  • Let go of the idea that you need to follow trends to be fashionable
  • Cling to what inspires you
  • Keep the ugly away from you closet
  • Buy what flatters you
  • Harp on your physical attributes and throwaway what holds you back.
  • Know that confidence is the new chic
