Murad HC RS14 1046

This Zuhair Murad’s collection definelty blew me away, it is one of my favorite collections from the 2014 Haute Couture; the glamorous collection featured lovely wedding dresses in floral glow, a beautiful garden segment, daywear looks, a new look-style outfit which was in guipure lace as his creation of modern femininity. The designer had explained that the look was his Parisian ideal. I must say being Parisian is not easy. High Fashion does speak volumes.

Overall it was a beautiful collection with lots of floral appliques, a multitude of camellias, roses, peonies, gentian, and more, all shimmering atop gowns, jumpsuits, and cocktail frocks. And a grouping of daywear looks that featured ivory suiting—pencil skirts, trousers, open jackets—all fronted in a double row of gold buttons.

In my opinion this collection was truly high fashion, judging from my love for sheer lace, floral fabrics and all things shiny. Was it a lovely collection?
